Drivers or riders who have been found guilty by a court of certain driving offences may receive a court order to complete the VicRoads Safe Driving Program. The Safe Driving Program is delivered by VicRoads-approved providers. Only these providers can issue a Completion Certificate to prove that the VicRoads Safe Driving Program has been completed. No other program can be completed instead of the VicRoads Safe Driving Program.
Connect Health & Community is a VicRoads approved provider and will provide the participant with a Safe Driving Completion Certificate (SDPCC) as evidence of successful completion of the Safe Driving program.
To remove the sanction on the drivers licence the client must then provide Vic Roads with the SDPCC (certificate) by email (firstname.lastname@example.org), or by post (Vic Roads, Locked Bag 7000, Kew, Victoria, 3101), or by Fax (03) 9854 2399, or in person at a Vic Roads Customer Service Centre.
The program is run from the main Connect Health & Community premises at 2a Gardeners Rd Bentleigh East.
You must produce one Category A document such as a current Victorian Photo Drivers Licence or Australian Passport, plus one Category B document such as a current Medicare Card or electricity bill. For full details about this requirement or alternative proof of identity documents which are acceptable please click here.
All participants must arrive at the Connect Health & Community at least 30 minutes prior to the program commencement to complete the administration requirements and attend the program. All participants must arrive back on time for the subsequent session after any breaks. Any participant who is 20 minutes late for the commencement of the program will not be permitted entry to that program.
Any registered participants who arrive intoxicated by alcohol or drugs, or display signs of aggression or place the safety of other participants, the facilitators or property at risk will be denied entry or ejected from the program and Victoria Police will be notified.
If insufficient participants are enrolled in a program Connect Health & Community reserves the right to cancel the program and transfer the participants to another program. Cancellations will not be accepted within 7 days of the program date. Cancellations more than 7 days from the program date may be transferred to another program or may get a refund less an administrative fee. For more detail Click here!
The cost of the program is $790. This is comprised of a $527 administrative levy on behalf of VicRoads, plus a $263 program attendance fee charged by Connect Health & Community. Full payment must be received and processed prior to the commencement of the program.
