Community Transport

Getting out and about

We have been offering safe and quality door to- door transport options to our community since 1975.

Community transport aims to assist people who are unable to use private or public transport and have no relative or friend who can take them out and about.

We have a great team of caring and dedicated volunteers and staff who are trained in providing safe door-to-door transport. If you'd like to know more about volunteering with us check out the information on how easy it is to get started making a real difference.

Group transport

Group transport is offered to our service users who are required to attend one of Connect Health & Community’s programs such as the Social Support program, Gentle Exercise, etc.

Our buses are used for group transport, one of which is wheelchair accessible.

Individual transport

Individual transport will get you to and from medical and rehabilitation appointments.

Connect Health & Community and volunteers’ cars are used for those who are able to comfortably get in and out of them. These cars are not wheelchair accessible.
Our transport services operate Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm,

Unfortunately, we cannot transport people who require ongoing monitoring and/or active treatment during transit.

What about My Aged Care?

You may be referred to our community transport service as part of a My Aged Care assessment.
