Social Support Groups are a great option for those who have difficulty getting out and about but still want to stay connected to their community. We offer full day and part day activities such as exercise, crafts, music and dancing, games, outings, discussions, special events, celebrations, quizzes and entertainers.
Each group varies slightly as each persons needs and abilities differ, but our approach remains the same - each person is unique and valuable and we aim to empower and support people to participate in our interesting and beneficial activities.
Whether your aim is to keep fit, make new friends, learn new interests, stay mentally alert, relax, be creative or just have time away from home we can support you to meet these goals.
Staff and volunteers conduct these groups. Some assistance with transfer, mobility and personal care can be provided.
