What issues will a dietitian help with?

  • Swallowing & chewing issues
  • Any of these points can affect your health and well-being.

How does a dietitian help?

  • Talk about current food and nutrition issues and how they might affect you
  • Provide individual nutrition assessments
  • Create personalised eating plans
  • Help you find ways to change your eating habits

Who is eligible?

Everyone in the community is welcome to access our diet and nutrition services.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can access our diet and nutrition service by requesting an appointment.

What about My Aged Care?

If you are over 65, you may be referred to our dieticians as part of a My Aged Care
assessment. This referral will be made with your permission.

Is there a waiting list?

There is a waiting list. The wait times vary with the service required.
