Virtual Holiday Finale: Week 15

Our final week abroad

Well, after 15 weeks of touring Australia and western Europe, we pack our suitcases for the last time before heading home.

With social restrictions easing across Melbourne and Victoria, we thought we would have one more week in Portugal before saying, “tchau” and heading home to adventures within our 25km radius.

So for our final fling, communications volunteer, Leesa, takes us to Lagos, Porto and Sintra in Portugal – with some holiday snaps by her colleague, Peter. We hope you enjoy!

Well, there we have it!

Thank you so much for joining me over these past 15 weeks.

I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have.  I am really looking forward to the end of COVID so I can go and visit some of these amazing places in person.

In the meantime, I look forward to doing some exploring a little closer to home next week.

And if you would like to suggest some local gems or provide any feedback, please just email me on

Thank you!
