The initial CEO of the East Bentleigh Community Health Centre Moira Dwyer, passed away last week.
Prior to being the first administrator/CEO of the Community Health Service, she was the practice manager for Dr Rose, one of the founding 4 GPs that advocated for the establishment of a community health service for local residents.
Our thoughts are with the Dwyer family at this time.
A youth mental health initiative developed with students during Victoria’s lockdowns, is hoped to help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues and encourage teens to seek help early.
