Term 2 Kinder and Handwriting Groups

Connect Health & Community is pleased to offer our popular new children’s groups again in Term 2, supporting your child’s skills, development and confidence in their education.

Enrolments are now open for our two Kinder Skills Groups and our Handwriting Skills Groups. 

Four year olds can benefit from our Kinder Skills Group.

Kinder Skills Group

For children attending 4-year-old kinder this year.

Kinder Skills Group can help your young one practice and strengthen a range of important skills required at kinder, including:

• Gross and fine motor skills • Social skills (sharing and taking turns) • Developmental and educational learning • Emotional regulation • Language development (listening and speaking)

Enrolments are now open for Wednesday or Friday sessions (9:30 to 10:30 am). 

Program starts Wednesday, 27 April 2022. 

Places limited to six per group, with consistent attendance recommended as skills build from previous sessions.  For enquiries and bookings phone Jess on (03) 9192 8931. 

Kids’ Handwriting Group

Handwriting skills can help your school-aged child.

Run specifically for school-aged children aged 5 – 8 years, this group is designed to improve their fluency and confidence with their handwriting.   

The program will provide a range of skills to assist handwriting, including:

Exercises to increase strength and coordination of hand muscles  • Letter formation techniques • Seating posture and pencil grasp • Increasing speed and fluency of handwriting • Maximising concentration, attention and socialisation skills.

Enrolments open for Monday and Tuesday afternoon sessions (4pm-5pm).

Program starts Monday 2 May 2022.
