NDIS client brings a blast from the past

NDIS service providers Connect staff

In April 2018, Connect Health & Community announced its new status as a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service provider.

And just a few weeks later, in early May, we saw our first NDIS client, which turned out to be a blast from the past for all involved! Under his NDIS plan, the client was funded for an occupational therapy assessment with any provider of his choosing. Thanks to a great experience with Connect Health & Community 3 years prior, he sought us out again. One of our occupational therapists, Bec, was delighted to catch up with him and perform another OT assessment.

Registered providers of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provide support to Australians with disability, as well as their families and carers. The benefits of the NDIS include more choice and more control over the services you receive.

As a registered NDIS provider, Connect Health & Community can provide you with a range of allied health services. Perhaps you’ve already visited Connect Health & Community and experienced our great range of services. If so, we look forward to helping you transition to the NDIS.

If you’re new to Connect Health & Community and want to learn more about our expanding range of NDIS-approved services and our status as an NDIS registered provider, we’d love to hear from you.

Our resident NDIS expert Michael Hallas is on hand to answer any queries you may have. Contact Michael direct on 03 9192 8922.
