Volunteer Shopping Assistants wanted

Helping a member of our community as a Volunteer Shopping Assistant will put a smile on your face.

Do you enjoy shopping, love helping other people and have some spare time to share?

If so, you could turn your free time into invaluable assistance for a member of our community.

We work to help clients stay independent and engaged in their daily living activities and need Volunteer Shopping Assistants to help people who may have disabilities, such as visual impairment and mobility issues.

Friendly volunteers are needed in the Glen Eira and Bayside areas.

We are looking for reliable, experienced drivers (7 years +) to provide one-on-one help with shopping, banking, post and errands etc.

Volunteers use their own vehicle (subject to conditions) and are given full comprehensive insurance for transporting clients. Induction is provided with ongoing support from our team. Induction costs are covered and travel is reimbursed.

If you have between 2-4 hours a week free and are happy to help clients with their shopping, including a social coffee and chat from time-to-time, contact us on 9575 5386 or email communitytransport@connecthealth.org.au
