Connect Health & Community has been supporting the community for more than 40 years and has many wonderful photos to celebrate that history.
One wonderful window on history came to light recently in the form of a photo album from the East Bentleigh Community Health Centre Fitness Groups from 1985-86.
The amazing almanac was happily holding its secrets on the shelves of our physiotherapy department.
Physiotherapist Terry, said she was delighted when she found the wonderful photos that celebrated the healthy endeavours of women from our local area in mid 1980s.
The photos show the women undertaking a range of endeavours to improve their physical fitness, including badminton, hockey, aerobics, hydrotherapy and netball.
This is just a few of the wonderful pictures. If you know any of these lovely ladies of our past, please let us know by dropping us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 03) 9575 5333.
